Shipping Policy



1. General

Veragarden delivers custom-made products such as verandas and glass sliding walls throughout the Netherlands, Belgium & Germany (with the exception of the Wadden Islands, unless otherwise agreed).

Because these are often large and fragile products, specific delivery conditions apply.



2. Delivery time

The delivery time of products depends on the type of product and customization.

  • Average delivery time: 5 to 12 working days

  • Delivery times are indicative and may vary

  • No rights can be derived from delivery times

If a delay occurs, you will be informed as soon as possible.



3. Delivery and transport

Delivery is carried out by an external carrier.

  • You will be informed of the delivery date in advance

  • Delivery will take place at the address you provided

  • No specific time is guaranteed

Veragarden reserves the right to outsource deliveries to third parties.



4. Delivery conditions (important)

To ensure a correct delivery, you must provide:

  • An easily accessible and clear unloading area

  • Sufficient space for unloading long profiles

  • Presence on the agreed delivery date

  • Assistance with unloading (if necessary)

Delivery takes place up to approximately 10 meters from the unloading point.
Drivers do not enter homes or buildings.

If delivery is not possible due to circumstances on your side, extra transport costs may be charged.



5. Absence during delivery

If you are not present at the agreed time:

  • the delivery will not be carried out

  • a new appointment will be scheduled

  • extra costs may be charged

Delivery to neighbours is not possible.



6. Risk and responsibility

The risk of damage or loss of products transfers to the customer at the time of delivery.

From that moment on, you are responsible for:

  • correct storage

  • safe transport on site

  • further handling of the product



7. Check upon receipt

Upon delivery, you must immediately check the products for:

  • visible damage

  • completeness of the delivery

Any damage or defects must be:

  • reported directly to the driver (if possible)

  • and in writing to Veragarden within 48 hours



8. Glass and fragile products

Additional rules apply to glass products:

  • Glass must be stored upright

  • Glass must not be transported or stored lying down

  • Incorrect handling can lead to breakage

Veragarden is not liable for damage due to incorrect use or storage after delivery.



9. Assembly

Veragarden exclusively supplies products and does not perform assembly.

Assembly must be carried out by a third party engaged by the customer.
Veragarden is not liable for damage or defects arising during or after assembly.



10. Delays and force majeure

Veragarden is not liable for delays caused by:

  • weather conditions

  • traffic situations

  • transport problems

  • force majeure



12. Costs

The transport costs for verandas vary between €0 and €500 and depend on the dimensions, weight, and logistical requirements of the product. No rights can be derived from the stated amounts; the final costs will be determined during the ordering process.
